Happy 2012!

Can't believe it, but it's officially 2012!!! I feel like I say this every year, but 2011 really did FLY by! 

The Lord has taught me so much over the past year...I was thinking about it in detail and it really just floors me to think about how much He's carried me through and taught me in the process. Even though a lot changed in 2011 for this girl, I can confidently stand on the other side and say:

*Jesus never left my side. Ever.
*Jesus will never leave my side. Ever.
*Being refined means being uncomfortable sometimes, and the benefits are out-of-this-world amazing!
*Surrender is a DAILY action...one that I can't go without
*Our Savior is BEAUTIFUL. He's allowing me to see sudden glimpses of His beauty in the everyday routines, and I love it...it brings me to my knees in adoration every single time

...these are just a FEW of the things I've been processing lately. :) Thanking the Lord for eyes to see and ears to hear...

As one of my sweet friends put it, 

May you become more like the person you were created to be in the new year that is fast approaching. Smile more, laugh more, and never let the people you love ever wonder if you do. Cheers to you, 2012!
